I sewed my first skirt!

As I have said, I am new to sewing.  I have only made a few things, but every experience has been so much fun.  My girls love skirts and they love to wear them to church and just for every day.  So for summer I would like to stock up on the skirts.

I looked and looked for an easy pattern for my first try.  I found a great tutorial from the blog MADE.  It's called "A Tutorial: A Simple Skirt".  She also just posted another tutorial based on the simple skirt, and is calling it the "Fiesta Skirt".  I want to make that one next.

Now my other daughter wants one.  I have the material, just need to get busy!
